Prof. Dr. Yunus Aydın graduated from the Çapa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University, and completed his specialization in Neurosurgery. He did his “compulsory medical service” at the Atatürk University in the Turkish city of Erzurum, where he became one of the youngest associate professors of Turkey.

He provided public service for 27 years and played a role in the educations many brain surgeons. He has authored with his colleagues over 100 scientific articles. He has developed surgical techniques which were accepted in the field of minimal invasive surgery, in particular.

With the amendment in the relevant law in the year 2011, he quit his services in state-run hospitals, and he has been continuing with his professional services for his patients in his own office.
